Cookie policy

Most cookie policies are long because most sites track you. This one is short.

What the banner is for

§25(2) TDDDG requires consent before storing anything on your device, with one exception: what is strictly necessary for a service you asked for. A sign-in session is the textbook case of that exception, and it is the only thing this app stores. Strictly speaking, no consent is required for it.

The banner is there anyway, for two reasons. Raise Your Light is one studio across two properties, and meeting the same interface on both is less confusing than meeting one on the main site and none here. And if analytics or attribution is ever switched on for this app, the choice you already made is on record rather than being asked for afterwards. Both optional categories are off by default and remain off until something actually uses them.

What is actually set

CookieSet byPurposeLasts
sb-…-auth-tokenSupabase, first partyKeeps you signed in so your answers save to your accountUntil you sign out or clear it

That is the complete list. The exact name carries your project reference, which is why it is shown with an ellipsis.

What is not here

No Google Analytics. No Meta or Instagram pixel. No Microsoft Clarity. No advertising network, no session recording, no cross-site identifier, no fingerprinting. Nothing loads from a third-party analytics domain, so nobody is building a profile of you from these pages.

Worth being precise, since the studio is one brand across two properties: the main site at raiseyourlight.com does use analytics and has its own banner. This app does not. What you allow or refuse there has no bearing here, because there is nothing here to refuse.

Removing it

Sign out, and the cookie is cleared. Clearing site data for this domain in your browser does the same thing. Either way you stay signed out until you sign in again, and no answers are lost: they live in your account, not in the cookie.

Blocking cookies for this domain entirely is your call, but sign-in will not work, and without sign-in the questionnaire cannot save anything.

Changing your choice

Art. 7(3) GDPR says withdrawing consent has to be as easy as giving it, so the banner can be reopened from any page, here or in the footer.
