Terms of service

These cover your use of the brand discovery app at studio.raiseyourlight.com/discovery. The commercial side of a project, what is delivered, when and for what, is agreed with you directly and is not replaced by anything here.

What this is

This app is the intake for brand work by Raise Your Light. You sign in, answer a tier-aware questionnaire in writing or by voice, and your answers become the raw material for a brand foundation. It is a working tool, not a product that returns a finished brand on its own.

Contract partner is Andreas Horvath. Postal address: Hausmanning 1, 94099 Ruhstorf, Germany. Full details in the imprint.

Your account

An account is required so answers save and you can return to them. Use an email address you control, and keep access to it: sign-in works by Google or by a link sent to that address, so whoever reads that inbox can reach your answers. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got in.

One person, one account. Accounts are not shared or transferred.

What you write here

Your answers stay yours. By submitting them you allow them to be used for the purpose you gave them for: producing your brand strategy, including quoting your own phrasing back to you in the deliverables. Nothing you write is published, sold, or used to train anyone's AI model.

Please only submit words you are entitled to submit, and do not paste confidential material belonging to someone else.

AI, and what it does not replace

Voice answers are transcribed by an AI service, and first drafts are written by Claude from your answers. Every draft is then reviewed and reworked by Andreas before it reaches you. What you receive is AI-assisted human work, and it is described that way rather than hidden.

Brand strategy is a professional opinion, not advice in any regulated sense. Nothing produced here is legal, tax, medical, psychological or financial advice, and none of it should be relied on as a substitute for a qualified professional in those fields. Trademark clearance in particular is not part of this work: check any name you intend to use with a lawyer before you build on it.

Who owns the result

Deliverables produced for you and paid for become yours to use for your business, without limit of time or territory. Raise Your Light keeps the underlying method, the questionnaire, the prompts and the software, none of which transfer with your deliverables.

Unless you ask otherwise, finished work may be shown as a portfolio example. Say the word and it will not be.

Prices and packages

Prices shown in the app are the founding rates and are indicative. The binding scope, price, timeline and revision count for your project are what you and Andreas agree directly, in writing, before work starts. Where anything here and that agreement differ, the agreement wins.

No payment is taken in this app. Choosing a package here starts a questionnaire; it does not place an order or create a payment obligation.

Availability

This is a small studio tool, not critical infrastructure. It is kept working and it depends on third parties (hosting, database, transcription and AI providers) whose outages are outside our control. No specific uptime is promised. Your answers are stored server-side, so an outage delays access rather than losing work.

Ending it

You can delete any discovery from your dashboard at any time, which removes the answers and every draft made from them. To close your account entirely, write to studio[at]raiseyourlight.com. Deleting intake data does not by itself end a paid engagement already under way; that is handled in your agreement.

Access may be withdrawn where the service is abused, used unlawfully, or used to submit content that is not yours to submit.

Liability

Liability is unlimited for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For ordinary negligence, liability arises only from breach of an obligation essential to the purpose of the contract, and is then limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not limited by anything here.

Governing law and changes

If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

These terms may change as the app grows. The date at the foot of this page is when they last did. Material changes affecting a project already under way will be told to you directly rather than quietly published.
